This page explains how to request the deletion of your MatterTracker account and the personal data associated with it. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to request deletion

Send an email to mattertracker0@gmail.com with the subject line “Delete my MatterTracker account”.
Send it from the email address you registered with — this is how we verify the request is really yours. If you can no longer access that mailbox, say so in your email and we will verify your identity another way before deleting.
We will confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Where available, you can also start a deletion request from within the App (Profile → Delete Account). Both routes have the same effect.

What is deleted

Tracked cases (the matters you added and your alert preferences)	Deleted

Push notification tokens (your registered devices)	Deleted / unlinked from the push service

What is not deleted

Public court-record information (cause lists, display-board status, case details published by the courts) is not personal data belonging to any user and remains in the system. After deletion, none of it is linked to you.
Records we are required to retain by law, if any, are kept only for as long as the law requires.

Timing

Deletion requests are completed within 30 days of verification. Push notifications to your devices stop as soon as your data is removed.
