MatterTracker tells you when your case is coming up in court. It follows the published cause lists and the live courtroom display boards of the courts it supports, and notifies you when your matter is a chosen number of items away.

The display board is empty. Is something broken?
Almost always no. The courts publish display-board data only while they are sitting — Monday to Friday, roughly 10:00 to 16:30 IST, excluding court holidays and vacations. Outside those hours the board is legitimately empty. Your tracked cases and all other screens continue to work.
My case is not showing as listed.
Cause lists are published by the court shortly before the hearing date — ordinary lists one to four days ahead, urgent lists one to two days ahead, and the complete list often only the night before. If your matter is not yet in a published list, MatterTracker cannot see it yet. Check that the case type, number and year you entered match the court's record exactly.
How does "items away" work?
Each matter in a cause list has an item (serial) number, and the display board shows which item a court is currently hearing. MatterTracker compares the two and counts the matters still to be taken up before yours, skipping gaps in the numbering and accounting for pass-overs. You can choose to be alerted when your matter is 15, 10 or 5 items away.
I am not receiving notifications.
Check that notifications are enabled for MatterTracker in your device settings, that alerts are switched on for the specific case in the app, and that the case is listed for the current day. Notifications also require a working network connection.
Can I open court orders in the app?
Yes, for the cases you track. Order and judgment documents are served by the court's own systems, which restrict access to Indian IP addresses — they may not open if you are outside India.
Which courts are supported?
MatterTracker currently supports the Punjab & Haryana High Court. More courts and tribunals are planned.
You can delete your account from inside the app: open Profile and choose Delete Account. Confirming permanently erases all of your tracked cases, notification history and alert settings, and signs you out. Removal of the sign-in credential itself is completed within 30 days, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
